And here's a strange one of me looking not very happy:

As of today I've folded about 200 cranes and raised 28% of my fundraising goal. Thank you to everyone who has donated! Your donations add up to great things:
- $600 trains 50 peer volunteers who can provide emotional support to newly diagnosed patients
- $1000 provides two patients with blood cancers with financial aid to support their medical treatment and travel to medical appointments for one year
- $7000 funds a program to educate 200 doctors on emerging treatments for a specific blood cancer
This was another 4:30 swimming morning for me, and after work I ran outside (!) for 40 minutes. Tomorrow is a day off of work and training. I'm going to go shopping for a bike rack for my car. Speaking of buying things, triathlon is kind of a pricey sport - here's a list of some of my new stuff:
- running shoes
- bike helmet
- chain oil
- running tights
- sports bra
- swimming suit
- 25 visit pass to rec center pool
